LEARNINGS & TAKEAWAYS
Buy-in, and adoption: Stakeholder buy-in is extremely important when designing for internal usage
Collaboration: Cross-team collaboration helps better decision making. Getting the editorial teams involved early-on helped eliminate ambiguity as they were involved in the strategy, requirements gathering, and user testing phases
Technical feasibility: It is critical to map out edge cases that help eliminate technical issues for content storage, streaming services, etc. Partner with your engineers early on to avoid any surprises later for either teams.
